Estos días de libros, letras y aguaceros nos han movido el corazón para hacer una nueva inmersión en la Fonoteca de Señal Memoria. Esta vez, en busca el rock inspirado en la literatura. Grunge, Progresivo, Brit-Pop, Alternativo… todos quedaron retratados en nuestra nueva serie Instagram.
Ahora, les presentamos cómo suenan:
Pink Floyd y George Orwell
Animals (1977), décimo disco de Pink Floyd, tiene sus raíces en el libro Animals Farm de George Orwell. En las páginas se critica a Stalin; en la canción “Pigs (Three Different Ones)”, al capitalismo.

“Tender” de los británicos Blur. Canción incluida en su disco 13 (1999). “Tender is the Night” es el título de la cuarta novela escrita por F. Scott Fitzgerald, quien a su vez, tomó la frase del poema “Ode to a Nightingale” de John Keats.
